DIY Adviser

This the final do it yourself episode in a series on building a standing floor mirror. We are designing and building a framed mirror that will stand on its own like an easel. In the first episode, we reviewed the design decisions and material selections and then cut the boards we will need to rough length and final width. In the second episode we shaped the mirror frame boards into a convex shape using a hand plane. In this final episode we assemble the mirror, apply stain and finish.

This episode contains a tip on how to cut boards that are slightly larger than the capacity of your power miter saw.
